REGISTRATION

Do I need to be a member of ASHHRA to attend?

No! But it’s worth it to join. All health care HR professionals are welcome to attend the ASHHRA 54th Annual Conference & Exposition, regardless of membership status. However, ASHHRA members save $200 on registration and have instant access to a number of members-only benefits. You have the option to join ASHHRA or renew your membership during online registration. Start your conference registration.

I just want to attend one session. Is that possible to do without registering for the full conference?

While there are no options for single sessions, One Day registrations are available for any of the conference days or all three days of the conference. See more details.

Can I pay by check?

Yes, but only until Aug. 31. There is an option to pay by check when you register online. Please follow the instructions provided inside the registration platform. All check payments must be received by Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, otherwise, you must pay by credit card or bring your check onsite before you can be officially registered.

Do you have discounts for group registrations?

Yes. ASHHRA offers discounts to organizations registering 5 or more attendees. Those interested should email ashhra@aha.org with the subject line of “ASHHRA18 Group Rates”.

If I can no longer attend, can I send someone in my place?

Definitely! To transfer your registration, please email ashhra@aha.org. This will avoid a cancellation fee for registrants who are no longer able to attend. The deadline to send someone in your place is Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.

AT THE CONFERENCE

Can I register onsite?

Yes. Payment must be made at the time of registration onsite via credit card. See the registration page for pricing information.

What should I wear to #ASHHRA18?

Business casual attire is recommended while attending the annual conference and its events, unless otherwise specified, such as the Social Event on Sunday night, where attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team’s logowear (any sport!).

How do I get to my hotel?

ASHHRA has negotiated discounted airport transportation for conference attendees. Visit the Travel page of the conference website for available options.

Do I have to wear my badge?

Yes, please. Badges should be worn at all times for the safety and security of all conference attendees. Your badge allows you access to all ASHHRA meetings, events, and exhibits.

What meals are provided?

Your Full Conference or Best Value registration comes with:
  • Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday and Monday
  • Brunch on Tuesday

How do I claim my Social Event ticket?

You may claim one ticket (with the option to purchase a second for $50) for Sunday night’s Social Event at PNC Park when you register. Already registered? Login to the Attendee Service Center to see if you claimed your ticket.

What's the best way to get to the Social Event on Sunday night at PNC Park?

PNC Park is less than one mile from both the Westin and Omni hotels. Ticket holders have several options to get to the venue: walk, take public transportation or taxi, or take advantage of the shuttles provided by ASHHRA from both the Westin and Omni Hotels. Boarding will begin at 6:45 pm. (Return transportation will also be available.)

How do I download the mobile app?

The mobile app will be available approximately two weeks ahead of the conference. You may download the app by searching for ASHHRA in the iPhone App Store or Google Play Store on Androids. Select your sessions, connect with other attendees and get on the leaderboard for a chance to win a prize!

Where can I find a list of other attendees?

A full list of the attendees will be available through the mobile app. Will I have any free time during the conference? Learning Sessions end at 5:45 pm on Monday. Enjoy a free evening using these resources from Visit Pittsburgh, made exclusively for #ASHHRA18 attendees.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. Sessions will be recorded and made available to Best Value registrants. Select session will be made available for others on the ASHHRA Learning Portal in Fall, 2018.

How do I claim my Continuing Education credits?

After completing conference evaluations, you will receive an email that contains attendance/activity codes that may be used towards either a CHHR, SHRM, or HRCI certification.

How many credit hours can I earn at #ASHHRA18?

Full Conference and Best Value attendees can earn 15.5 credit hours. Those attending preconference workshops are also eligible for an additional 6 credit hours.

The Pre- and Post-conference attendee mailings lists are available for purchase for a one-time use if you’d like to reach out to attendees before the conference. The form can be found in the Exhibitor Service Kit. You may also promote your company and booth through advertising and sponsorship at the conference. Refer to the Sponsorship and Advertising Prospectus to see available opportunities.
